About the Role:
Blue Ridge Escapes is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Guest Experience & Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is vital to ensuring smooth operations across our managed short-term rental properties and delivering exceptional service to both guests and property owners. You will be the bridge between our internal team, property owners, service providers, and our guests—handling everything from real-time guest support to coordinating repairs, managing communications, and helping maintain a strong social media presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Coordination: Work closely with cleaners, maintenance techs, and management to ensure all property issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
- Client & Owner Communication: Respond to new client inquiries, provide timely updates to owners, and coordinate approvals for property-related expenses or repairs.
- Reservation Oversight: Monitor and confirm payment status for upcoming guest stays. Follow up on any outstanding balances.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Schedule and track repairs and service visits. Maintain a log of outstanding issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Property Readiness: Ensure each property is guest-ready. This includes confirming cleanings are completed and that locks and essential systems are functioning properly.
- Guest Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for guest questions, concerns, or issues during their stay. Strive to provide a five-star guest experience at every opportunity.
- Social Media & Brand Presence: Create and post engaging content during site visits to showcase properties and maintain brand presence online.
- Administrative Support: Monitor lock battery levels, respond to daily emails, and assist with internal process improvements where applicable.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in hospitality, property management, or customer service strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using platforms like Airbnb, VRBO, Hostfully, Turno, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Tech-savvy and able to learn new platforms quickly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions independently
- Must have reliable transportation for occasional property visits
