About the Role:
Blue Ridge Escapes is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Vacation Rental Cleaners to join our growing team. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards our guests expect across our short-term vacation rental properties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean and reset vacation rental properties between guest stays
- Follow detailed cleaning checklists to ensure consistency and quality
- Launder and restock linens, towels, and amenities
- Remove trash and dispose of it properly from inside the home and outdoor bins
- Take quality assurance photos after each clean to document property condition
- Take and report cleaning supply inventory to ensure properties stay stocked
- Inspect properties for damages or missing items and report issues promptly
- Ensure all appliances and systems (locks, lights, HVAC) are functioning properly
- Communicate with team leads about property status, supply needs, or maintenance concerns
- Occasionally assist with deep cleans or property setups as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred (especially in hospitality or vacation rentals)
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable transportation required to travel between properties
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods
- Must have a smartphone and basic familiarity with communication apps or scheduling tools
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred (especially in hospitality or vacation rentals)
